The faith-filled drama about a chart-topping rock star and the young girl who changes his life has a new streaming home—and you can only watch it on EKKL.
Looking for your next movie night pick? We’ve got one—and you won’t find it anywhere else.
Following its August theatrical run, Elijah Peel is now streaming exclusively on EKKL, giving EKKL members exclusive access to its story of an unlikely friendship, second chances and finding something more.
The film follows Elijah Peel (Robert Malcolm Cumming), a rock star who has fame, success and a career most musicians would envy. But behind the spotlight, his rock-star lifestyle is spiraling out of control.
When a near-fatal heart attack forces him to confront his choices, he forms an unexpected friendship with Jessica (Evelyn Grace Kite), a young cancer patient who isn’t afraid to ask the kinds of questions Elijah has spent years avoiding.
What begins as an unexpected friendship becomes something much bigger.
Stories like this are exactly why we built EKKL—a platform where faith-filled stories of hope, purpose, redemption and transformation come to life through movies, series, podcasts, Daily Devotions and more.
Worth the Watch
At its heart, Elijah Peel is a story about what happens when someone reaches the top of the mountain and realizes he still hasn’t found what he’s looking for.
Elijah isn’t searching for a career. He’s already got one. He’s not trying to become famous. He already is.
He’s being forced to ask a much bigger question: What is all of it for?
As his friendship with Jessica unfolds, Elijah begins to see his life—and his future—through a different lens. What starts as a search for meaning ultimately becomes a journey toward faith and a relationship with Jesus.
And in the end, Jessica doesn’t simply become Elijah’s friend. She challenges the way he sees his life, his choices and what might still be possible.
